Plastic anchors

Plastic anchors. They are used for the correct fixing of thermal insulating panels applied in external thermal insulation composite systems.

Description

  • Plastic anchors are suitable for a variety of substrates such as:
    • concrete from C12/15 up to C50/60
    • solid and porous bricks
    • autoclaved aerated concrete
  • Quick and easy installation by simply tapping the pin with a hammer
  • Strong anchorage thanks to the expandable element
  • No thermal bridges are created, they contribute to energy savings
  • Plate diameter: 60 mm
  • Anchor diameter: 8 & 10 mm
  • Anchor length: 70 – 260 mm

Substrate preparation:

Cementitious substrates must be solid, free of cracks and free of dust, salts, grease and any other materials that could reduce the adhesion of the system.

Application method:

The anchors are placed in the holes that we have opened. The choice of drilling tools should be made depending on the substrate. The drilling depth, in the substrate, must follow the technical specifications were in solid substrates it is at least 5-6 cm, while in the case of porous 8-9 cm. The number, position and type of anchors are determined by the specifications.

Recommendations:

  • Always use suitable equipment
  • Select the correct anchor length according to the thickness of the thermal insulation board, the substrate and the load
  • It is recommended that the application be done by a professional user
