RUST CONVERTER

Acid based liquid for converting rust to iron metallic surfaces providing also short term protection

Converter in liquid form with the ability to react chemically with rust and provide a rust free surface. It is certified for application on iron reinforcement of concrete structures according to EN 1504 – 7. It is applied in one single coat directly on the rusted iron (after the removal of thick pieces of rust) and left to react for 24 hours. After wards all residues are removed by means of a cloth. On the rust free iron surface apply NOVAFER and then RC 340, RC 440 in order to restore the ‘covering of the reinforcement’ or apply appropriate primer in cases of painting. It is not affected if traces of cement are present on the surface to be treated.
