Brilliant white, one component and fast curing cement based mortar certified for the fast bonding and grouting of glass bricks on walls. It is thixotropic with excellent adhesion to non absorbent materials. Ideal also for restorations since it facilitates the fast building of the glass brick wall.
Substrate preparation:
Cement based substrates have to be free of cracks, compact, clean, free of grease, oil, laitance and any substances which may compromise the adhesion of NOVACOL GL.
Preparation of the mix:
Mix the content of the 25kg paper bag containing NOVACOL GL (25 kg) with 5 – 5,5 liters of clean and fresh water by means of appropriate electric stirrer at low speed for at least 3 – 4 min or construction mixer, until a uniform mortar free of lumps is obtained. The mix has a pot life of 2 -3 hours.
Application:
NOVACOL GL is applied using a trowel or metal spatula depending on the application. Create a uniform adhesive substrate and place the glass brick over it. Jointing is done with the same material using suitable means-guides. Excess material is removed with a wet sponge.

Cleaning:
Tools, buckets, tiles etc. can be cleaned with fresh and clean water as long as, NOVACOL GL is still fresh. After hardening occurs, cleaning can take place by mechanical means.
