  • Walkability: 4 h > 25°C & ≈10 h > 12°C
  • Application temperature: from +15°C up to +30°C

Substrate preparation:

PLANOFINISH EPOXY should be applied on a clean, dry and free from dust surface. The substrate must be insulated from rising moisture. The surface moisture content must not exceed 4%. The application temperature should be between +15°C and +30°C.

Preparation of the mixture:

Components A and B are packaged in containers with a predetermined mixing ratio. Component B is completely added to Component A. Mixing of the two components is done for about 2-3 minutes with an electric mixer at low speed (300 rpm). It is important to stir both the walls and the bottom of the container so that the catalyst is evenly distributed. Allow the mixture to mature for a few minutes and proceed with the application keeping the material workability times.

Application:

Apply at least 2 consecutive layers of the mixture using a suitable roller for varnish. After the first layer turns from milky to transparent, it’s ready to accept the second layer. In any case, take care to penetrate the surface well. The waiting time between the layers is about 60-90 minutes at an ambient temperature of +23°C and the relative humidity less than 80%.

Maintenance:

Daily cleaning of surfaces coated with PLANOFINISH EPOXY is done with neutral detergents such as NEUTROCLEANER insoluble or, dissolved in water depending on the application. For special cleaning cases such as rubbers, shoe marks, household stains, candles, etc. it is recommended to use ALCALINE CLEANER dissolved in water at a ratio of 1 ÷ 10 to 1 ÷ 20. If salt removal is required, apply HARD REMOVER dissolved in water at a ratio of 1 ÷ 3 or 1 ÷ 4 and rinse thoroughly with water. For more information, refer to the relevant Product Data Sheet.

Recommendations:

  • Only for internal area applications
  • Do not apply the product on surfaces that are not dry
  • Do not apply the product on surfaces where moisture is rising or evident
  • Do not apply the product when the temperature is below +15°C and the relative humidity in the atmosphere is higher than 80%
  • The two components of PLANOFINISH EPOXY are in a predetermined proportion. It is forbidden to partially mix the two ingredients
  • Do not apply PLANOFINISH EPOXY on old varnishes and on dusty or dirty surfaces
  • Always use appropriate and clean tools
