Surface setting retardant for cement screeds

Surface setting retardant used for creating micro-pebble decorative coatings. It is applied by spraying the fresh and levelled on NOVACEM CREATIVE or NOVACEM CREATIVE FLOOR mixed mortar with 0,5mm minimum grain size. It has violet colour in order to control the coverage and it can be applied on horizontal and vertical surfaces. After 12 – 48 hours after its application, the surface is washed with water and/or mechanical means, reveling the surface of granulates used in the mix to a depth of only 0,5 mm. PLANOCOLOR CRT 052 slows down the setting process of the mortar to a small depth (0,5mm), thus allowing for the use of particle size even 0,5 – 1,00 mm.

Consumption: 200-300 ml/m²
Color: Purple
Package: Containers 20 L, Containers 5 L
Pallet: 480 L

  • PLANOCOLOR CRT 052 surface setting retardant for cement screeds is used for creating surfaces with exposed aggregates for applications such as:
    • walls and floors in public areas
    • in private constructions, terraces, ramps, etc.
    • inside or external swimming pool areas
  • Form: liquid
  • Density: 1,05 ± 0,05 kg/L
  • pH: 7,5 ± 0,5
  • Application temperature: from +5°C up to +35°C

Before application, homogenize the product well. After smoothing the mortar and within 30 minutes of application, spray a layer of the material evenly across the surface. PLANOCOLOR CRT 052 reacts when it comes in direct contact with the cement mortar, creating a protective film. Rinse the surface by spraying water under high pressure (100 to 150 bar maximum), 12 - 24 hours after application, depending on environmental conditions, but in any case, within 3 days after its application. In case of rain during the waiting period the product is recommended to be removed without waiting.
Note: If during the removal of the material from the surface, aggregates are removed, reduce the water pressure or wait for more time. It is recommended to use a test area of approximately 1 m² before final application.

  • Do not add water or other materials that might affect the properties of the product
  • Do not apply when temperatures of the environment and substrate are less than +5°C and higher than +35°C
  • Protect adjacent surfaces where you do not want retardation from the material’s droplets

Tools and containers should be cleaned with water.
