Microcement coating in the form of one-component brilliant white powder. It is particularly fine-grained with a smooth and slightly glossy finish. It is mixed only with water and NOVACOLOR DESIGN A/V pigments in liquid form in order to achieve shades of the relevant color chart or with NOVACOLOR OXIDE pigments in powder form in order to create an “abstract art” style. It is suitable for creating a ‘Venetian plaster’ texture on walls and ceilings, indoors and outdoors, as well as in wet areas such as bathrooms. It is applied at a thickness of 1 – 2mm for each layer in a flat, dry and properly primed or waterproofed substrate of plaster, plaster board, cement board, smooth concrete.

Cement based substrates must be compact, without cracks, free of dust, salts, grease and any other materials that could reduce adhesion of PLANOCOLOR VENETICO to them. Concrete substrates should be mechanically prepared, for example by grinding, in order to achieve a uniform surface of open porosity without protruding edged. For gypsum based substrates, it is necessary to prime the substrate with NOVAPRIMER. Non-absorbent substrates are recommended to be primed with SC ELASTIC. Preparation of the mix:
Mix the PLANOCOLOR VENETICO bag (20 kg) with 7.0 - 8.0 liters of clean water with a low-speed electric mixer (500 rpm) for at least 3 - 5 minutes. Mixing should take place until the mixture is completely uniform and free of lumps. It is recommended to mix the pigment first with water. To achieve the shade of the PLANOCOLOR color chart, a NOVACOLOR DESIGN A/V pigment is mixed with every 5 kg PLANOCOLOR VENETICO. The product is ready for use. The mixture has approximately one hour of pot life.
Application of the mix:
The mix is applied with a trowel in one or more layers at a total thickness not exceeding 3 mm, with a maximum per coat thickness of 1 mm. The waiting time between layers must be 2 - 3 hours depending on the temperature and the humidity of the environment.

Cleaning:
Buckets, tools, coatings etc. can be cleaned with water as long as the mix is still fresh. Once dried cleaning can be done only by mechanical means.

The standardized color chart based on RAL colors, allows us to make combination with window frames and in general industrial materials make easier the final choice of the right color.
Remark: Due to printing and application procedure (pressing, mixing with color pigment, different varnishes), the colors and their final appearance presented here and in every catalogue or brochure, should be considered as indicative.
The non standardized color chart of microcement PLANOCOLOR VENETICO includes color scales out of the “industrial type” RAL scale, involving pastel colors obtained by a mixture of a base color and white, that provide unlimited possibilities for creating special colors on site from the applicator.
The shades presented on the non standardized color chart are obtained by mixing the “basic” pigment NOVACOLOR DESIGN (i.e. for pastel green 12084 basic pigment is the 0084) with the relevant quantity of signal white 9003 pigment according to the proportions listed for each color. The prescript proportions refer to a quantity of 5kg VENETICO powder.
