PROTECT 900 S

Anti-graffiti water & oil proofing protection for polished stones & terrazzo

Solvent based waterproofing agent with high penetration ability even inside reduced absorbency coverings of polished surfaces such as marble, granite, polished gres porcellanato and terrazzo coverings produced by using NOVACEM TERRAZZO hydraulic binder. Provides enhanced protection against oily and colored pollutants such as wine and coffee. Its application facilitates the removal of advertisement posters and graffiti from coverings such as polished natural stones. On interior polished floors it can be applied before the final surface sealant protection with PLANOFINISH HP.

Description

  • PROTECT 900 S can be used as stain-proofing agent for:
    • polished natural stones such as granites, marbles
    • polished granite tiles
    • on walls gives protection against graffiti
    • for indoors and outdoors such as floors, kitchen and bathroom benches, tables, etc.
  • Form: liquid
  • Density: 0,8 ± 0,05 kg/L
  • Application temperature: +10°C to +30°C

Application:

The application surface should be dry and clean, free from dust, oil, grease, cement laitance and loose parts. PROTECT 900 S is applied with a brush isomer in two continuous layers. The second layer is applied after the previous one has been absorbed, but without a long interval between applications (fresh to fresh). If a surface film has been created, it is removed after 24 hours by re-applying a thin layer of the material and removing immediately with a dry cloth. Surfaces that have been waterproofed with the PROTECT 900 S should be protected for at least 5 hours from rain and high temperatures.

Recommendations:

  • Avoid using direct exposure to sunlight and/or strong wind as well as rain
  • Do not add water or other liquids
  • Do not apply it to a substrate and ambient temperatures lower than + 10°C and higher than + 30°C
  • Do not apply on wet surfaces
  • In absorbent natural stones, it is recommended a test application
